I had the most incredible stay at Clan Cottages! The location was absolutely breathtaking, nestled in serene surroundings that made me feel like I was in the middle of nowhere. The cottage itself was stunning, with a modern interior and a kitchen that was better equipped than my own at home. I was able to bake and even pack a picnic thanks to the thoughtful amenities provided. Even though the weather wasn't the best, I had plenty of entertainment options with the well-stocked tourist info shed. The owner, John, was incredibly kind and gave me great recommendations for activities to do on a rainy day. The views of Loch Nell from the quiet roads around the cottages were like something out of a postcard. my stay at Clan Cottages was a rejuvenating and unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful rural break.

The location of the cottages is described as peaceful and tranquil, surrounded by stunning views of the loch and river. Guests have enjoyed sitting on the patio, overlooking the river and watching the birdlife, including ducks with their babies. the cottages are well equipped, with clean and spacious rooms, and a welcome pack of biscuits, wine, and water upon arrival is a nice touch.
It seems that launching the rowing boat on the loch can be a bit awkward.

The cottages were well-appointed and had a charming traditional design. the location was beautiful, with a view of the loch and nice walks in the area.
The communication with the staff was poor, as they seemed disinterested and unresponsive. The cleanliness of the cottages was lacking, with various stains and dirt in the rooms and bathrooms.

I recently stayed at Clan Cottages for a relaxing break. The thatched themed cottages were well equipped and comfortable, blending seamlessly into the beautiful surroundings of Loch Nell. The host, Mary, was attentive and helpful. The cottage itself was clean and warm, with a spacious double bedroom and twin room, as well as a luxurious on-suite bathroom complete with Jacuzzi bath. The open plan living room and kitchen had everything we needed. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for stargazing at night. We even took advantage of the rowing boat provided to explore Loch Nell. a truly wonderful stay.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming cottage in the Scottish countryside. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery, including a lovely view of a lake and hills. The cottage itself was immaculate, with attention to detail and tasteful furnishings. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were thoughtful touches like small bottles of wine and packets of biscuits. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. I also enjoyed taking the provided rowing boat out on the lake.
It was a bit confusing to find information about the cottage's location online, as it was listed in a different area than where it is actually situated.
